Welcome
I hope you will enjoy looking at some of my original art work through my gallery - each painting is a result of my own artistic journey and the many influences that we all experience.
I work mainly in acrylics and mixed media to produce interpretations of various themes. My work tends to evolve in categories, for example the music series, sea and landscapes - all are interpretations in which I hope to create atmosphere, colourful observations and imaginative interpretations.
I exhibit widely and private commissions are held in the USA and Spain as well as collections in the U.K.
I have regularly shown work at The British Society of Painters Exhibition where I have won The Yorkshire Television award and also been placed in the top ten.
I have previously won the Vale of Pickering Art Club Painting Challenge Day and I am currently Chairman for VOPAC.
Outdoor painting season for 2011 was inspiring and successful.Works from these 'adventures' plus exciting new abstracts on the music theme, will be shown in Exhibitions and Galleries throughout 2012.
